Other times, she appears as a glorious nude woman, walking the battlefields and choosing amongst the fallen to take the bravest to Valhalla. Still other times, she appears during the battle itself, inspiring the fighters with promises of a glorious afterlife in Folkvang. |

As with all Norse Gods and Goddesses, the Lady Freyja is a Goddess of War. As such, she is often found in the thick of the fighting, smiting her enemies. Mistress of many weapons as well as powerful magics, the Goddess is a formidable foe. |

The Goddess Freya is the Lady of Folkvang, a section of Asgard. She lives in her palace, Sessrumnir, the many-roomed. As she has dominion over half of the honored dead, as well as an abundance of cats, her Hall needs to be quite large. |
